The meeting began with a presentation covering the results and achievements of 2023, as well as ambitious plans for 2024 and beyond. It was a time to reflect on our shared successes and an opportunity to celebrate the whole team’s achievements.
After the official part came time to get together. Employees had the chance for relaxed conversation, exchanging experiences, and celebrating together. The atmosphere was full of positive energy, and everyone had a great time, which shows that success in business isn’t just about dry numbers, but above all about the people behind them.
So what interesting things happened at Petmex in 2023?
- In 2023, we built a new, large warehouse, which increased our production capacity, and our export sales department significantly increased its number of business partners. Our products entered further new markets, including Croatia, Romania, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Strengthening our position in the US market was also a major success.
- We created a domestic sales department, which in just half a year doubled the number of pet shops it serves, and the Petmex and Bontari brands became even more popular on Polish shop shelves.
- In 2023, Petmex exhibited at three industry trade fairs: Zoomark in Italy, PetExpo in Poland, and Dibevo in the Netherlands. In addition, our representatives visited several other pet industry events, including Global Pet Expo in Orlando, Pet World Arabia in Dubai, SuperZoo in Las Vegas, Pet Fair South East Asia in Bangkok, and the China International Pet Show in Shanghai.
- Our marketing team promoted Petmex products at more than 30 national and international dog shows in Poland. We were also present as sponsors at dozens of industry events: dog competitions, training courses, and rescue and police dog exams.
- Over the past year we also became winners of the Forbes Diamonds award and received many other honours. We are particularly pleased with the recognitions and awards from the pet industry, such as the “Pearl of Zoology”, awarded by the organisers of the Polish Pet Expo trade fair.
