From 18-22 January 2023, in Myślenice near Kraków, a course called “Physical Preparation of a Dog for Sport” was held with Amelia Makówka. As every year in the winter period, Air-Dog Team organises training on physical, motor, and sporting preparation, mainly for people who train or compete in any of the canine disciplines (frisbee, agility, obedience, flyball, IPO, and many more).
This year Petmex joined the ranks of sponsors, preparing a large package of chews, treats, and snacks for every canine participant. This was met with a warm response from both the participants and their dogs. 😉
Because of both the theory and the practical workshops, the course was held in a small group, so that every participant and their dog could get the most out of it. Participants ranged from beginners training with their dogs in canine sports to more experienced people who compete, and even trainers.
The organisers care about spreading knowledge on physically preparing a dog for sport, motor training for dogs, avoiding injuries, looking after a dog’s condition and needs and health, and especially preparing it for the strain associated with practising canine sports.
